  1. What is the relationship between this game with vaccination? It sounds like an interesting game but I still cant get a hold of what the board game is about.

  2. Hi Ong,

POX’s game play models how vaccination works to stop the spread of disease in a population. Through playing, players begin to understand the benefits of preventive medicine, and its cost-effectiveness compared to palliative or curative medicine.

We have been able to show that after playing POX, players show more positive attitudes towards vaccination! In the future we plan to show that this attitude change can lead to players getting vaccinated more often after playing POX.

I hope I was able to answer your questions!
